Day 1: Fes – Merzouga

The team meets you at your accommodation in Fes at 7:30 a.m. the departure across the Middle Atlas Mountains. Ifrane is next city to cross, the cleanest city in Morocco. The coming points are Azrou, Midelt and the Ziz gorges. This is the beginning of desert like area. Upon reaching Merzouga, the Erg Chebbi dunes appear on the horizon. Going via camels is the means of transport in desert. We are to spend the night in an equipped camp. We go to high dunes to see the sunset. The night is spent in nomad tents.

2nd Day: Merzouga to Fes

The second day begins as follows. We enjoy a magnificent sunrise on the dunes. Trekking camel back to the hotel is the next. Breakfast and shower are the signs of departure to Fez. The voyage is via the Ziz valley and the Middle Atlas Mountains. We leave to the desert region to Fes. We drive through the forests of Azrou, and optionally stop to handfeed the monkeys. We go back whence we come at first via Ifrane. Fez is arrived soon.
